Wine connoisseurs, foodies, and those looking for a fun evening in support of cancer research, get your tickets for the 16th annual Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation Food & Wine Experience November 8 and 9, presented by Lexus of Brookfield and Lexus of Milwaukee. On Friday, Nov. 8 from 6:30-9:30pm at The Pfister Hotel, you can enjoy sampling vintage wines, signature cocktails and craft beers, alongside decadent culinary samples from local 4 and 5 star restaurants. Mingle with local chefs and winemakers from across the country and satisfy your cravings while contributing to a worthy cause.
The fun continues on Saturday, Nov. 9, with the Celebrity Chef & Wine Dinner at the Wisconsin Club. This incredible evening features a multi-course meal prepared by four-time James Beard Finalist for Best Chef Southwest, Chef Steve McHugh, a Wisconsin native who owns the San Antonio restaurant Cured at Pearl. His restaurant is endowed with a name that speaks to his successful battle against cancer, as well as the artisan cured meats that are the cornerstone of his menu. Each course will be expertly paired and presented with wines from Dry Creek Vineyards and artisan cheeses prepared by Hill Valley Dairy.
The Food & Wine Experience is hosted by the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. This year proceeds will benefit the Starr Children’s Fund, which legendary quarterback Bart Starr and his wife Cherry started in 2017 in collaboration with the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. The Starr Children’s Fund supports pediatric cancer research and treatments.
