Jane Matenaer

Jane Matenaer has been entertaining morning radio audiences in southeastern Wisconsin for decades. With their honest, direct and warm approach, the “Jane & CV in the Morning” show was awarded the top honor at the 2011 Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards for Excellence.  

A quick wit, Jane also has extensive stage experience and has written and performed several one-woman shows about growing up as the daughter of a small town mortician.  

Passionate about books, animals, gardening, old houses and travel, Jane and her husband Paul live in the Milwaukee area with their one eyed rescue dog Barclay.

CV (Carol Vonn)

CV has been with WLDB-FM for over 5 years and in the radio business for over 25 years. She has seen many changes in the industry and prides herself on being able adapt easily. CV can be heard weekdays on WLDB’s “Jane & CV in the Morning” from 5:30am-10am and on 1290 Martini Radio (WZTI-AM) from 11am-3pm.

CV has worked at stations in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. She has worked all shifts and has worn many hats: announcer, director of public service, assistant program director, music director & more.

CV lives with her husband and cat and has a huge heart for animals. She volunteers for the local humane society, helping with their feral cat Catch & Release Program.
