Personally the older I get the more I focus on wellness and not just fitness. Taking into account the mental, emotional, and environmental factors in my life help me create more awareness of what brings me joy and purpose in my life. Equally as important is the fact that there has been seemingly a lack of access to health & wellness culture in our black and brown communities here in Milwaukee. There were always higher rates of health problems were I´ve lived. So I felt compelled to make an impact.
Center Street Wellness features locally-made products from amazing makers here in Milwaukee. Products made for us and by us are more healing to us. I thank all the amazing wellness partners that contribute to Milwaukee\’s wellness movement.
